Contributions to support the Papal Visit to Canada

Pope Francis' visit to Canada is focused on Indigenous Healing and Reconciliation. The pilgrimage will provide an opportunity for the Holy Father to address the impact of colonization and the Catholic Church’s role in the operation of residential schools in Canada. As shepherd of the world’s 1.2 billion Catholics, the Holy Father will also have an opportunity to connect with the Catholic community in Canada. Donations through this page will support the Papal Visit to Canada, separate from fundraising taking place locally to support the Indigenous Reconciliation Fund. Thank you for your generosity!

The Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall is helping to collect donations for the Papal Visit. It accepts donations as follows:

• through Canada Helps
• by e-transfer using cfo@archottawa.ca, and "Diocese" as a password
• by cheque addressed to RCECO and sent to Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall c/o CFO, 1209 Michael Street N. OTTAWA, ON, K1J 7T
• by giving through your parish by specifying your donation is for the Papal Visit

Tax receipts will be issued for donations of $20 and above.
