Peace be with you.
The Church will begin the forty holy days of Lent on March 2nd, a day when we will not only be marked with ashes but invited to seriously enter into an attitude of conversion. How will we live the next few weeks leading up to Christ's ultimate sacrifice on the cross and his glorious victory over death and evil?
We will accomplish this only if we keep our focus on the Lord who will guide us. Through prayer, fasting and almsgiving, Christians around the world will be empowered to be more attentive to God and to the needs of their neighbors.

Lent is an important time of preparation leading to the great feast of Easter. The Church in her wisdom gives us these 40 days to reflect and prepare through fasting, prayer and almsgiving. Lent begins on Ash Wednesday (March 2nd) and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday (April 14th).
There have never been so many amazing tools, especially online. In fact, there are so many it's tough to know what to choose. In this special Lenten section of the website we have tried to help narrow it down. We feel confident that you will find one or two ideas.
"Lent is a favourable time for personal and community renewal, as it leads us to the paschal mystery of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. For our Lenten journey in 2022, we will do well to reflect on Saint Paul’s exhortation to the Galatians: “Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up. So then, while we have the opportunity, let us do good to all” (Gal 6:9-10)."
