The Diocesan Properties Team has specialized knowledge for all types of construction, renovation and repair projects. In addition, the team has knowledge in laws regulating parishes in their renovation & construction projects. 

We offer assistance with respect to the following:

• Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act
• WHMIS
• Municipal, Provincial & Federal laws regulating building & maintenance
• Ontario Planning Act
• Ontario Heritage Act
• Policies for Parishes and the College of Consultors
• Guidance for all types of construction/renovation projects
• Guidance for all types of building operations & maintenance issues
• Guidance for zoning projects
• Guidance for lease agreements (tenants, parking, use of the church)
• Facilitate obtaining reports for renovation/constructions projects:
  • Building evaluations reports
  • inspection for asbestos 
• Recommend contractors, engineers, architects, plumbers, electricians, etc. for your projects
