Stewardship is a way of life which is deeply rooted in scripture, and in particular, in the teaching and life of Jesus Christ. It is a spirituality founded on gratitude, a deeply Eucharistic spirituality. It addresses our profound inner need to give thanks to God for his abundant blessings.
Stewardship recognizes that all that we have and all that we are is God's gift to us. It impresses upon us that we are stewards of the many gifts that God has entrusted to us. We do not own them for ourselves. These gifts are most often identified as
We are called to receive them gratefully, to cherish and tend them responsibly, to share them justly and lovingly, and to return them to God abundantly. We are meant to bear fruit and bring forth a plentiful harvest.
